In order to enjoy the numerous benefits of PayPal, you’ll need to sign up for a PayPal account. PayPal offers two main types of accounts to meet all of your needs. You can sign up for a Personal or PayPal Business account.

Most casual sellers or non-businesses who wish to get paid online will find a Personal account very useful. You can use it to send money as a gift or pay for items online.
