Add Chromecasts to a Speaker Group using the Google Home App

Google Home app is an amazing application that allows you to manage multiple home devices including Google Home and Chromecast devices on your Android smartphone, iPad, iPhone, and tablet. It allows you to add Chromecasts to Google speaker groups. In the past, grouping of Chromecasts that connect to TV into a speaker group was impossible. You could only group Chromecast Audio dongles and Cast-enabled speakers. All that has changed. Today, you can group Google speakers using Google Home app.

Chromecasts

With Chromecasts, you can now get songs around your entire home with speaker groups. You can use Chromecasts to play music in sync across multiple rooms and devices. By adding compatible devices such as Google Home speakers, you can play the same song in sync across multiple devices. Google Home app now comes with a handy feature that supports the combination of multiple Google Cast-compatible devices for synchronous music streaming.
